I. Structural Components

The water-curtain spray booth mainly consists of the following parts:

1. Booth Enclosure: Provides a relatively enclosed space for spraying operations, ensuring that the spraying process takes place in a controlled environment.

2. Water Tank: Stores circulating water, equipped with paint sludge filtration structures inside.

3. Stainless Steel Water-Curtain Panel: Positioned directly opposite the operator, made of 1.2mm-thick stainless steel plates, with uniform water flow on the surface.

II. Working Principle

   • The paint mist is drawn to the water-curtain panel by the exhaust fan, mixing with the water on the panel surface and falling into the circulating water tank.

   • The water-washing system located behind the water-curtain panel further captures paint mist through high-pressure water mist, which then mixes with water and falls into the circulating water tank.

2. Air-Water Separation:

   • The air-water separator, located behind the water-curtain panel, uses a labyrinth structure to effectively separate water mist from the air, preventing water loss.

   • The filtered air is then discharged outside through the exhaust fan.

3. Circulating Water Treatment:

   • The circulating water pump draws water from the circulating water tank, pressurizes it, and sends it through the piping to the water-curtain overflow trough to form a stable water curtain.

   • Paint mist coagulant is added to the circulating water tank, causing the paint mist to coagulate into clumps for easy cleaning.
