Water-Curtain Paint Mist Treatment Spray Booth
Detailed Description of Water-Curtain Paint Mist Treatment Spray Booth
I. Structural Components
The water-curtain spray booth mainly consists of the following parts:
-
Booth Enclosure: Provides a relatively enclosed space for spraying operations, ensuring that the spraying process takes place in a controlled environment.
-
Water Tank: Stores circulating water, equipped with paint sludge filtration structures inside.
-
Stainless Steel Water-Curtain Panel: Positioned directly opposite the operator, made of 1.2mm-thick stainless steel plates, with uniform water flow on the surface.
-
Water Circulation System: Includes a circulating water pump, valves, water-curtain overflow trough, and piping.
-
Exhaust and Filtration System: Comprises a centrifugal exhaust fan for the water-washing booth, air volume control valves, ducts, and fan mounting vibration isolation frame.
II. Working Principle
-
Paint Mist Capture:
-
During spraying, not all the paint sprayed by the spray gun is absorbed by the workpiece, generating a large amount of paint mist.
-
The paint mist is drawn to the water-curtain panel by the exhaust fan, mixing with the water on the panel surface and falling into the circulating water tank.
-
The water-washing system located behind the water-curtain panel further captures paint mist through high-pressure water mist, which then mixes with water and falls into the circulating water tank.
-
-
Air-Water Separation:
-
The air-water separator, located behind the water-curtain panel, uses a labyrinth structure to effectively separate water mist from the air, preventing water loss.
-
The filtered air is then discharged outside through the exhaust fan.
-
-
Circulating Water Treatment:
-
The circulating water pump draws water from the circulating water tank, pressurizes it, and sends it through the piping to the water-curtain overflow trough to form a stable water curtain.
-
Paint mist coagulant is added to the circulating water tank, causing the paint mist to coagulate into clumps for easy cleaning.
-
III. Technical Features
-
High-Efficiency Paint Mist Capture: The advanced design of the water-curtain panel achieves a paint mist capture rate of over 90%.
-
Environmental Protection: Effectively purifies spray paint exhaust gases and reduces environmental pollution through water curtain and water-washing systems.
-
Easy Maintenance: The filtration system and circulating water tank are designed for easy cleaning and maintenance.
-
Safety and Reliability: Uses low-noise, high-airflow fans to ensure a safe spraying environment.
IV. Application Range
The water-curtain spray booth is widely used in the spraying of workpieces in industries such as machinery, automotive parts, metal products, decorative items, home appliances, and furniture. It is suitable for single-side spraying and can also be combined in multiples for double-sided spraying.
V. Advantages
-
Air Purification: Effectively removes harmful gases and particulate matter generated during the spraying process.
-
Improved Spray Quality: Provides a stable airflow to ensure even paint application on the workpiece surface.
-
Enhanced Working Environment: Offers a clean and safe working environment for operators.
The water-curtain spray booth, with its advanced design and efficient treatment capabilities, has become an indispensable environmental protection device in modern spraying operations.
