Detailed Description of Motor Surface Painting Production Line (Manual Loading Version)

I. General Overview of the Production Line

This production line is specifically designed for the surface painting of motor casings and other components. It covers a series of processes including manual loading, pre-treatment, painting, drying, and unloading, achieving automated production. It can improve production efficiency, ensure stable painting quality, and reduce errors and labor intensity caused by manual operations. The production line consists of a manual loading unit, pre-treatment unit, painting unit, drying unit, unloading unit, and control system. These units are connected by conveying devices to form a complete production process.

II. Detailed Description of Each Section

(1) Manual Loading Unit

Structure: A loading area is set up at the beginning of the production line, equipped with an operating platform, material rack, and interface for the conveying device. Operators can take motor components from the material storage or pallet and place them onto the conveying device in this area to start the subsequent process.

Function: Manual loading is flexible and cost-effective. It is suitable for small-scale production, a wide variety of products, or situations with cost constraints. It can be adjusted flexibly according to the shape and size of the components to ensure accurate and reliable loading.

(2) Pre-treatment Unit

Cleaning Device: Components are cleaned by spraying or immersing in cleaning liquid to remove dust and oil from the motor surface, providing a clean base for painting.

Degreasing Device: Chemical or physical degreasing methods are used to remove oil from the surface, ensuring good adhesion of the paint film.

Rust Removal Device (if applicable): For components with rust, sandblasting or chemical rust removal processes are used to ensure the appearance and corrosion resistance of the painted surface.

Function: To remove impurities from the motor surface, making it suitable for painting and improving the adhesion and quality of the paint film.

(3) Painting Unit

Painting Equipment: Equipped with multiple automatic spray guns, which can spray paint precisely according to the shape and size of the components and pre-set programs. The painting parameters can be accurately adjusted through the control system to ensure a uniform paint film.

Paint Supply System: It includes paint storage tanks, conveying pipelines, and filtration devices to supply paint stably and cleanly. The type of paint is selected according to the usage requirements and performance needs of the motor.

Painting Booth: A closed space with ventilation and exhaust gas treatment devices to collect paint mist and volatile substances, preventing pollution and ensuring safety and quality.

Function: To complete the surface painting of the motor. Automated equipment and precise control achieve high-quality and efficient painting, forming a uniform, aesthetic, and protective paint film.

(4) Drying Unit

Drying Method: Hot air drying and infrared drying are common. Hot air drying accelerates the drying of the paint film by conveying hot air, while infrared drying uses radiant heat to quickly evaporate the solvent.

Drying Chamber: The temperature and humidity can be precisely controlled according to the drying requirements of the paint film, ensuring quick and uniform drying and preventing issues like cracking and bubbling.

Function: To quickly dry and cure the paint film on the motor surface after painting, forming a paint film with hardness and adhesion for subsequent processes.

(5) Unloading Unit

Structure: Similar to the loading unit, it uses a robot, mechanical arm, or automatic device to take the dried components from the conveying device and place them in the finished product area or on another conveyor belt to complete the process.

Function: Automatic unloading ensures smooth production line operation and facilitates inspection, packaging, and storage of finished products.

(6) Control System

Composition: Consists of a programmable logic controller (PLC), touch screen, sensors, and actuators. The PLC coordinates the units according to programs. The touch screen is used for parameter settings, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Sensors detect component positions, conveying speeds, and painting parameters and provide feedback. Actuators perform actions according to instructions.

Function: Centralized control and intelligent management of the production line, ensuring stable operation according to pre-set processes and parameters, improving automation and efficiency, and facilitating maintenance and management.
