The types, structure, assembly and testing process, and automated production line of charging piles are important components of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Types of Charging Piles

Charging piles are mainly divided into two major categories: AC (Alternating Current) charging piles and DC (Direct Current) charging piles. AC charging piles are commonly referred to as "slow charge," while DC charging piles are known as "fast charge." According to the installation method, charging piles can also be divided into floor-standing and wall-mounted types. Additionally, based on the installation and usage environment, charging piles can be classified into industrial and non-industrial environments, and by usage target into shared and dedicated types.

Structure of Charging Piles

The structure of a charging pile typically includes the pile body, charging module, display screen, connection cable, billing management module, and safety protection devices. The pile body structure is usually made of materials such as steel or aluminum alloy, ensuring durability and stability. The charging module is the core of the charging pile, including components such as the charging machine, controller, and power supply. The display screen is used to show information such as charging status, progress, and fees, and some charging piles are also equipped with touch screens for human-machine interaction.

Assembly and Testing Process

The assembly and testing process of charging piles covers key steps from part inspection, module assembly, whole machine debugging to performance testing. First, all parts are strictly selected and inspected to ensure quality. Then, using automated equipment for modular assembly improves efficiency and accuracy. After assembly, the whole machine is debugged to ensure the coordinated operation of all components. Performance testing verifies the charging efficiency and stability. Finally, after appearance inspection and cleaning, the product is packaged and prepared for shipment if it passes the quality check.
